Terms & Conditions

This agreement (‘Agreement’) is entered into between Tiki Boat Boston (‘Tiki Boat Boston,’ ‘company,’ ‘we,’ ‘us,’ or ‘our’) and the individual(s) booking our services (‘you’ or ‘guests’). By booking a ticket, charter, or utilizing any services provided by Tiki Boat Boston, you agree to the terms and conditions outlined herein. Please read this Agreement carefully before proceeding with any reservations or bookings. If you have any questions or concerns regarding this Agreement, please contact us for clarification.

Reservation Policy:

To confirm a reservation with Tiki Boat Boston, full payment is required. Please note that the date and time of your reservation will only be considered confirmed upon receipt of payment. A reservation will be held for a period of 24 hours after the invoice has been sent. Failure to submit payment within this timeframe will result in the release of the reservation, making the slot available for other bookings. Should you require additional time to make payment, please contact us promptly to discuss options for holding your chosen date and time.

Ticket Resale Policy:

Tiki Boat Boston strictly prohibits the resale of tickets without express written consent. Reselling tickets without authorization is against company policy and the company does not endorse guests purchasing cruise tickets for the purpose of reselling. Any unauthorized resale of tickets is in violation of company policy and may result in actions such as ticket cancellation, or denial of entry to the event, without a refund.

Additionally, the following aspects are included in this policy:

  • Ticket Ownership: Tickets are non-transferable and can only be used by the guest or group named on the ticket.

  • Prohibited Activities: Any other prohibited activities related to ticket sales, such as scalping, counterfeit ticketing, or unauthorized distribution channels, are explicitly stated.

  • Consequences: Violating the ticket resale policy may lead to actions such as legal action, ticket cancellation, or refusal of service.

  • Company Rights: Tiki Boat Boston reserves the right to cancel tickets obtained through unauthorized means and to refuse service to guests engaging in prohibited activities.

For further inquiries or to seek permission for ticket resale, guests can reach out to the company directly at info@tikiboatboston.com.

Cancellation Policy:

If you need to cancel your booking, Tiki Boat Boston offers the option to issue a credit for the full amount paid, which can be utilized for rebooking at any time without expiration. Please be advised that due to high demand and limited availability it is necessary to provide a minimum of 72 hours’ notice for all cancellations. Cancellations made without notice or within 72 hours of the scheduled departure time will render the booking ineligible for credit. Tiki Boat Boston strictly adheres to a no-refund policy.

Inclement Weather Policy:

Tiki Boat Boston cruises are conducted rain or shine, with the safety of passengers as our top priority. Our experienced vessel Captains assess weather conditions, taking into account advisories from the United States Coast Guard, weather forecasts, and other relevant sources. In the rare event that unsafe conditions are identified, the Captain may cancel the cruise. Tiki Boat Boston will notify you as soon as possible when determining if a trip has been cancelled due to weather. If a cancellation occurs due to safety concerns, passengers have the option to reschedule their booking or receive a full refund. Rest assured, our vessels are equipped with coverings and enclosures to ensure a comfortable charter experience in any weather.

Charter Time Policy:

The reserved time for your charter is fixed. If your departure is delayed due to factors within your control, such as late arrival, the charter will still conclude at the initially agreed-upon time. However, if Tiki Boat Boston needs to delay the departure for any reason, you will still receive the contracted amount of time on the water. Should you wish to extend your charter time, subject to availability, arrangements can be made at a pre-agreed rate established prior to departure.

Outside Food/Beverage Policy:

Food may be consumed on board, either provided by Tiki Boat Boston or brought by guests. Please note however, in the event of a food mess requiring a significant cleaning or washdown due to food related incidents, a $200 fee will be charged.

Liquor, beer, and wine are available for purchase aboard. Outside alcoholic beverages are strictly prohibited. In the event that alcohol is brought on board, the charter will be immediately terminated without refund, and guests may be denied future charters. Guests are prohibited from consuming alcohol on the dock or harbor walk prior to boarding. Furthermore, if any individual poses a safety risk due to intoxication, the Captain reserves the right to deny entry or to return to port and terminate the charter. Trash cans are provided onboard, and we appreciate your help in keeping the harbor clean.

Smoking and Illegal Drugs Policy:

Smoking is strictly prohibited on board our vessels and/or within the premises of the Boston Harbor Hotel. Furthermore, the possession and/or use of illegal drugs are strictly prohibited. The Captain is obligated to notify the Coast Guard if any illegal substances are discovered onboard. Please be advised that possession of illegal substances may result in arrest, in accordance with Maritime Law.

Expectations:

Tiki Boat Boston is committed to ensuring a safe and enjoyable charter experience for all guests. We expect all guests to prioritize safety, respect the directives provided during the Captain’s safety briefing, and adhere to any instructions given by the Captain or crew. Any alterations to the confirmed headcount must be communicated and approved before the charter commences. Furthermore, guests are urged to minimize noise disturbances out of consideration for others on board and/or in the area.

Acceptance and Agreement:

By making any payment for Tiki Boat Boston services, whether through invoice payment or booking a ticket or charter online, you explicitly acknowledge that you have carefully read, fully understood, and agree to abide by all the terms and conditions outlined herein. This constitutes a legally binding agreement between you and Tiki Boat Boston. Failure to adhere to these terms and conditions may result in the forfeiture of services, cancellation of charters, and any associated remedies or legal actions deemed necessary by Tiki Boat Boston.
